A Travellerspoint blog

a sneak peak in my everyday life

Here’s a peak of my everyday life.

I am on afternoon shift today. Iza, a Filipino friend and who also works in our Company was on a morning shift.

Waking up always starts with me checking FaceBook, YahooMail, YouTube, and of course my blog.

I make it a point to check my LoveLove every day. We do chat, call, and update each other on how our day like is,
how’s our work, and just about everything.

NOTE: I’m just telling the Rated PG stuff we’re doing.

I'm always taking a bus on my way to work.

Travelling time would take at least two-hours, because there’s always a bus stop on every 2 kms.

Here’s a shot of the Bus itself.

This is a bus stop, or as they say bus shelter, it’s air-conditioned.

The red machine you’re seeing below is the recharge machine for the bus tickets. And yes, Dubai have a centralize
transportation system, bus ticket can be use on train as well. Of course taxis are an exception.

This is the one of the newly built train station, the Dubai’s version of MRT.

Here’s a typical Flat or Housing Facilities. I live in one of these so called Flats. It is usually shared by same
nationalities. One room has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a veranda and a receiving area.

This walk way is where I walk almost every day. It’s a very hot day because summer is fast approaching.

This grocery store is Dubai’s version of SM’s supermarket, they call it the “CarreFour”.

this is the facade of the mall where i work. This mall is inspired by Egyptian designs. They have Pyramids, The Sphinx, and everything associated from Egypt.

And this is the shot of my very own boring world. My Super lousy and lonely Shop.

I allot eight hours every day staying here. Business is kind of unfelt because of the recession, low economy, and people staying home instead of going to the mall.

At ten in the evening I headed home, ah... no we headed to Starbucks to unwind.

After two hours, I took a taxi and reached my room.

Tired and having a headache, I open my laptop once again.

This is my life.

Like a multiplication equation, just multiply this day by the total days of my contract and you’ll get the point.

Have a good night!
